Inlet rubbers. The xjr is restricted
by reducing the internal diameter of the rubbers fitting fjr rubbers stamped
36y or sourcing aftermarket ones will give you a couple of bhp.

Exhausts.
Comes down to personal taste really unless you are looking for more
power which in that case there is only one contender the Akropovic 4-2-1
will add another 10-15bhp and reduce weight.

Clutch. If
you start tuning then your going to need one of these a barnett clutch
spring conversion to replace the weak diaphragm clutch spring as fitted to
the standard xjr, if you start experience lots of clutch slip chances are
its not the plates but the spring a quick cheap fix is to double up the
diaphragm spring !

Engine Work. Where
do you start? look in the direction you want to go, just a mild street tune
or a full on 1600 turbo straight liner as pictured done by bigcc racing,
whatever you do get some professional advice and try and keep to a budget as
its a major drain on the finances !
